Important Update: All judging is complete and songs have been selected for On The Grind Vol. 12 which will be released next week. We are NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS for our next mixtape which will be released this fall and distributed at various HBCU Homecoming games including Clark, Spellman & Morehouse College. ALL Premium submissions for the next mixtape will be reviewed by an A&R from Universal Republic Records (Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Amy Winehouse, Kelly Rowland, India Arie, etc.)Do not procrastinate for this release. Songs that make the cut will appear in the order that they were submitted. If you want to be the first song on the CD, you need to submit music NOW!

1. All Songs submitted will be serviced to 50+ Club, Mixtape & Radio DJs.
2. All DJs will rate your music on a scale of 1 to 10
3. All DJs have access to your contact information incase they want to work with you directly. (Several artists that didn't make it on mixtape still gained mixtape placements and radio play because Judges were feeling the song and reached out to them directly)
4. Premium Song submissions receive a written marketing consultation from an A&R at Universal Republic Records
5. The top 15 Records will be placed on 5,000 Mixtapes Distributed at HBCU Homecomings!
6. Artists selected for mixtape will also be featured in the next issue of Makin' It Magazine.
7. Direct contact information for all selected artists is included on mixtape. Artists genereally receive increased exposure, paid shows, industry contacts, web traffic and career opportunities.
